Classes – WPSK

Days: Tuesday / Thursday

Time: 9:00-11:30am

Our 2 Day class is appropriate for children 2 years 9 months-3 years 9 months. The focus is on socialization skills as well as an introduction to shapes, colors, and beginning numbers skills. Children will have ample time for free play as they explore all areas of the classroom while also learning to follow a class routine and to transition from one activity to another.

Days: Monday / Wednesday / Friday

Hours: 9:00-11:30am

Our 3 Day class is appropriate for children 3 years 9 months-4 years 9 months. We provide opportunities to practice cooperative play skills through free play, playing games and during small group activities. We also introduce the alphabet through the “Letter of the Week” and practice number identification, counting, and fine motor development for scissor cutting and beginning writing skills.

Days: Monday thru Thursday

Hours: 9:00-11:30am

Our Fall Fives class is for children 4.9 or older. This class provides reinforcement and extension of skills for those children who are just a few months short of the age for kindergarten enrollment. It also allows for more growth for children who have just turned 5 and who may benefit from more time to gain confidence and solidify skills. The curriculum focuses on extending the “Letter of the Week” as well as regular practice with beginning reading and writing skills. We also provide opportunities to explore concepts in STEM and reinforce numbers and counting.
